To better protect our instrument computers, we are placing them behind a proxy server and limiting the websites they are able to access. Once your lab machines are configured to use the proxy server, there will be a short period of time when we will allow you to bypass the proxy server so as not to disrupt your work.
If there is a website you would like whitelisted, please email cophelp@purdue.edu to request the exception. If you need immediate access to the website, you can turn of routing through the proxy by using the instructions below. This should only be turned off temporarily.
Press the windows key and type the word proxy. Select "change proxy settings"
In the manual proxy setup section, select edit then turn off the "use proxy server" setting.
